Why do I need a wedding planner?When you hire a wedding planner to help with your event you are hiring someone with expertise and experience in the field. You hire someone with vendor connections and a creative mind for design and execution. We handle every detail from start to finish and help you through the process with vendor recommendations, budget planning, and day of coordination which allows you to sit back and enjoy your engagement!

What is the difference between a wedding planner and wedding coordinator?There is so much confusion between these two roles and knowing the difference is vital to your event! A wedding PLANNER is a person whose profession is the planning and organization of weddings. A planner is often brought on by a couple at the beginning (our full planning package) or close to the beginning (our partial planning package) of the planning process. A planner is involved with all the decision making to build your entire event. This includes finding venues, booking vendors, tracking budget, finding accommodations, etc. A wedding COORDINATOR is a person who oversees execution of all wedding plans on the big day. A coordinator is often brought on in the weeks/months (our month-of coordination package) out and take all the pieces that have been planned and then execute them on the day of. This will include finalizing timelines, communicating with vendors, and running the show on the day of the event. So, what does this mean for you? When you choose ANY of our packages day-of coordination is included! We believe that plans are best executed by the ones who make them so we work with you until the very end. We are committed to making your day a seamless and stress-free event!

How far in advance should I book your services?We recommend booking our services as early as possible to ensure event date availability and ample time for event planning. Even if you are only booking Month-Of Coordination it is best to find your Coordinator as early as possible as dates fill up quickly! We are committed to accommodating events as we are able but the sooner you book the more likely your event date will be available!

Do you offer a day of coordination package?In short, no, we do not offer only a Day-Of Coordination package! But let us explain! While all of our packages include Day-Of Coordination we care too much about the details of your wedding day to only offer Day-Of Coordination. However, we do offer a Month-Of Coordination package! Our Month-Of Coordination ensures that we have ample time to understand your vision, finalize arrangements, and tackle any last-minute challenges. By working together the month before your event, we can meticulously review your plans, coordinate with vendors, and manage the timeline to perfection, ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed on your wedding day. This comprehensive approach allows us to create a stress-free and joyful experience for you, making your special day everything you’ve dreamed of and more.

Why do you offer elopement planning? Will you really go up a mountain or down a river with us?I am 100% down for any adventure you want to go on! Before wedding planning I worked in outdoor recreation guiding and logistics so I know my way around a mountain and down a river. Whether you want to hike the Italian Dolomites or canoe Boundary Waters I am your girl. Together we can craft the perfect adventure wedding!

What is your cancellation policy?Our cancellation policy is designed to ensure fairness and transparency while upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional service to all our clients. Upon booking our services, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, demonstrating mutual commitment and reserving our resources exclusively for your event. Additionally, a retainer equal to the remaining balance is due 8 weeks before the event day to finalize arrangements. As we allocate significant time, effort, and resources to each event upon booking, we do not offer refunds for cancellations. We appreciate your understanding of our policy, which allows us to maintain the highest standards of service for all our clients. Do you work with a specific list of vendors or can we choose our own?I believe in giving you the freedom to choose vendors that align perfectly with your style and vision. While I do have a curated list of trusted vendors I love working with I am always open to sourcing & collaborating with vendors that you have in mind. My goal is to build a team of professionals who can bring your wedding dreams to life whether they are a part of my personal network or your favorites!

Do you offer payment plans or flexible pricing options?Our typical payment schedule is a 50% retainer to secure your date & begin the planning process with the retainer due 8 weeks before your event. I understand that wedding planning involves a significant investment and I strive to offer flexible payment options that work for you. I am happy to discuss the options during our consultation to find a plan that feels comfortable for you.
